Two community members were recognized and received awards at the Leadership Hopkinsville Business After Hours hosted by the Minority Economic Development Initiative Tuesday.
Leslie Carroll is the recipient of the Legacy of Leadership Award and the winner of the Leadership in Action Award is Ryan Milauskas. The awards were presented at the event, which served also as a reunion for Leadership Hopkinsville alumni.
Christian County Chamber of Commerce Director of Events and Marketing Kirstie Darnell says the event is about fellowship and recognizing the outstanding work of Leadership alums.
The Legacy of Leadership Award is designed to recognize a Leadership graduate who exemplifies the importance of community, service and leadership skills through long-standing and dedicated leadership. The Leadership in Action Award is designed to recognize a Leadership graduate who strives to make a difference in the community by being on the front lines of moving the community forward.
Darnell says the Chamber is hosting several upcoming events, including honoring recipients of the Edward Jones Quality Service awards, ribbon cuttings and the annual Compass awards next week.
