Murray State’s Ja Morant and Austin Peay’s Terry Taylor have been named Co-Players of the Week by the Ohio Valley Conference. Morant averaged 28.5 points in wins over Austin Peay and Eastern Kentucky and also set the OVC’s single season assist record and joined the career 1,000 point club.
Taylor had 42 points in a win over Morehead State to go with 18 rebounds and averaged 33 ½ points in two games which also included a 73-71 loss to Murray State.
