Alex Wood won his arbitration hearing against the Cincinnati Reds. Wood will receive nine million and six-hundred and fifty-thousand dollars in 2019. The Reds had countered with an eight million and seven-hundred thousand dollars offer. The left-hander went 9-and-7 with a 3.68 ERA last season with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was acquired in a December 21st trade.
