Two old rivals meet in Conference USA action as Western Kentucky entertains Middle Tennessee. WKU coach Rick Stansbury will not coach in tonight’s game nor Saturday’s home date with UAB. He missed last week’s road games due to a back injury and according to a statement, will undergo back surgery tomorrow and is expected to return to the sideline soon. Tipoff is at 7 in EA Diddle Arena.
Meanwhile, WKU’s Lady Toppers open a CUSA road swing at Middle Tennessee this evening.
Another rivalry game that takes place this evening in the Ohio Valley Conference has Austin Peay hosting Murray State. It will be the 126th all-time meeting with the Racers leading 82-43, but only leading the series by one game, 29-28 in Clarksville. Tipoff is at 8 pm in the Dunn Center.
Women’s action: In the Ohio Valley Conference–Austin Peay travels to Morehead State and Murray State visits Eastern Kentucky.
SEC action has Tennessee hosting Auburn and Vanderbilt travels to Ole Miss.
