The Kentucky New Era reports Matthew Gibson has resigned as soccer coach at Christian County High School. Gibson coached just one season for the Colonels, compiling a 8-12-1 mark in the 2018 season. The Colonels lost to University Heights 3-1 in the 8th district semifinals. Gibson is the second boys soccer coach to resign in the offseason, joining UHA boys coach Mike Smith who also will not be returning in 2019.
