Kentucky defensive coordinator Matt House is now the new linebackers coach for the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs. After interviewing with the Chiefs Friday, House had decided to stay in Lexington according to a report from Kentucky Sports Radio. However, CBS Sports.com reports the Chiefs were initially not willing to pay a $150,000 buyout of House’s contract to Kentucky, but on Monday decided to pay the buyout to get House’s services.
A report from Rivals.com indicates outside linebackers coach Brian White is the front runner to take over as UK’s defensive coordinator.
