A Christian County Grand Jury returned multiple indictments concerning wanton endangerment and other charges Friday.
Indicted for four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, fourth-degree assault, cultivating marijuana, trafficking in marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, fleeing or evading police and resisting arrest is 37-year old Nicholas Almon of Crofton. He allegedly fired shots from a handgun at his girlfriend and his children in December, after allegedly hitting her in the head for taking an alcoholic beverage away from him. He reportedly pursued them to a different location, where he fired more shots. He was soon taken into custody by officers, after attempting to flee in a vehicle.
Also indicted for three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment is 19-year old Dylan Reynolds of Dawson Springs, who allegedly became belligerent at a party in December where he had been drinking. He began driving his vehicle around the residence, causing damage to the yard. He allegedly attempted to run over three people and a victim shot out the tires of the vehicle to stop it. Reynolds was taken into custody at a residence on Elgin Road later that day, and was reportedly manifestly under the influence. He is additionally charged with criminal mischief, fleeing or evading police, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
56-year old Prentice Leavell of Hopkinsville is indicted on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and carrying a concealed deadly weapon. He is accused of firing a shot into the air from a handgun after becoming upset with his girlfriend in December. A search of his vehicle reportedly revealed the handgun and a glass pipe.
20-year old Steven Moody of Hopkinsville was indicted for first-degree wanton endangerment, trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He allegedly fired a gunshot at the male victim who was laying on a bed at a residence in January, yelling for the victim to leave the location. While being served with a warrant for that incident, officers allegedly found 33 grams of meth and other drug paraphernalia in the residence Moody was staying.
