Ladders fell off of a pickup on I-24 Tuesday night, causing accidents involving seven other vehicles.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Oxford investigated and determined 42-year old William Allen of Nashville was westbound near the 91 mile-marker at about 8:20 p.m. when the ladders fell off a rack on the back of his truck.
Six vehicles behind him struck a ladder and the sixth—driven by 58-year old Donald Hundley of Madisonville—was rear-ended by a pickup operated by 50-year old Sandra Meeks of Calvert City.
Meeks was the only person who complained of injuries and was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
