The Be MY SweetART event to benefit local artists through the Hopkinsville Art Guild will take place Friday and people are urged to get their tickets before they’re gone.
Appearing on WHOP Wednesday morning, Deanna Sova explained what happens at the event, saying attendees create their own Valentine’s Day chocolate boxes with treats made locally.
Sova says the money raised will go to benefit the artists in the community.
She says there are still some tickets available, but she urges those interested to get in contact the Art Guild ahead of time.
Sova says Jim Garnett will be providing music and there will be door prizes at the event that starts at 4 p.m. at the Hopkinsville Art Guild gallery on Sixth Street. At least 25 area vendors have donated their talents and people will be able to enjoy and hopefully even purchase some of the artwork on display.
