After making the top 10 of the Bob Cousy Award watch list, Murray State’s Ja Morant has also made the cut in the top 20 of the John R. Wooden Award as announced by the Los Angeles Athletic Club late Monday. Morant wasn’t on the Wooden preseason top-50 list, but played his way to the top-25 list when it was announced January 9th. The winner of the Wooden Award will be revealed during the ESPN College Basketball Awards Show on April 12.
