CCMS wrestler Adams is state champion

Christian County Middle School’s wrestling team scored 48 team points to place 18th at this weekend’s Kentucky Middle School State Wrestling Championships. The Colonels had three placers including state champion JT Adams at 152.

At the Kentucky JV State Championships the Colonels scored 66 team points to place 11th as a team. The Colonels were led by runner ups DT Wharton 2nd at 120 and Timmie Dunham 2nd at 152.

Christian County’s varsity team next wrestles this coming weekend at McCracken County High School in the Region 1 State qualifying tournament.
