Man allegedly fired gun during argument with wife

A man who allegedly fired a gun near his wife’s head during an argument Saturday morning was arrested.

An arrest citation for 29-year old Christopher Catlett of Hopkinsville says he grabbed his wife by the shirt and tried to pull her out of a vehicle during the incident that happened just before 4 a.m. on Evergreen Park Drive.

Catlett allegedly put a gun next to his wife’s head and fired it near her ear, causing pain and ringing.

He was located a short time later by Hopkinsville Police and was arrested for first-degree wanton endangerment and fourth-degree assault.
