Ja Morant had 22 points but Murray State fell at Jacksonville State 88-66. Former Christian County standout Detorrion Ware played a couple of minutes for Jacksonville State but didn’t score. The Racers are now 16-4 and 7-2 in the OVC, while Jacksonville State is the only one loss team left in the OVC at 8-1. The Gamecocks are 16-6 overall.
Murray State’s women eased by Jacksonville State 64-59. Both teams will be in action tomorrow at Tennessee Tech, with the women’s game beginning at 5:30.
