Families of students in Christian County who have an economic or medical reason their child should attend a school they are not currently zoned for have until April 26th to complete and submit a hardship application.
Parents and guardians of students already in the hardship program will receive an application in the mail, but new applicants will need to pick up an application at the Christian County Board of Education on Glass Avenue during regular business hours and then turn it in by the 26th of April.
Christian County no longer has a school choice program, but a committee reviews the individual requests and makes the recommendation on whether or not to allow the child to attend a different school.
