The Cincinnati Reds are reportedly in heated trade discussions with the Miami Marlins to acquire All-Star catcher J.T. Realmuto. Several outlets report Miami is interested in third base prospect Jonathan India, who the Reds selected fifth overall in the 2018 draft, and catcher Tucker Barnhart.
Cincinnati is hesitant to include top prospects Hunter Greene, Taylor Trammell and Nick Senzel in the trade. The Marlins are also involved in trade talks with the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres for Realmuto.
