Man arrested for warrant, meth possession

A traffic stop Saturday night led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man on a warrant and for meth charges.

Deputy Andy Spann stopped 43-year old Ryan Graves of Hopkinsville at MJ Boyd Road and Dawson Springs Road for having an expired registration.

A computer check showed he was wanted on a warrant for probation violation. A search at the jail allegedly revealed a small baggie of meth in his pocket.

Graves was charged with promoting contraband and meth possession, in addition to the warrant and offenses related to the traffic stop.
