Clarksville Police have charged a man with vehicular homicide in connection with a crash that happened in October of last year.
As previously reported, 31-year old Justin Clark was traveling south on Riverside Drive in a bucket truck on October 19th when he approached a construction zone. There were patrol cars with lights flashing and cones set out to mark where Clark should travel, but he instead struck a cruiser and then hit a scissor lift and boom lift.
Three people on the lifts were injured and hospitalized and 43-year old Robert Bartz died from his injuries.
A news release says a blood sample from Clark revealed THC—the active ingredient in marijuana. Clark has been charged with vehicular homicide, four counts of vehicular assault, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
