UPDATED: Amber Alert for Trigg child canceled after child found safe

The Amber Alert issued for a missing child in Cadiz has been canceled after the boy was found safe in Hopkins County and the man who allegedly had him is in jail.

Authorities say 10-year old Isaih Boren is safe and will be reunited with family, while 27-year old Isaac Chamberlain of Dawson Springs is in the Hopkins County Jail. He has been served with Trigg County warrants and is charged with promoting contraband in Hopkins County.

As previously reported, Boren had been allowed to leave a Cunningham Avenue location in Cadiz with Chamberlain and he was not returned. The Chevy Venture they had initially been inside was located without Chamberlain or Boren Tuesday morning near Dawson Springs, according to the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department. It wasn’t long after that until the boy and suspect were found.

Cadiz Police was assisted by the FBI, Kentucky State Police, Hopkins County authorities and law enforcement agencies from across the region in the investigation.
