Fire damaged a home near Trenton early Sunday morning.
It started as a chimney fire at a home next to Trenton Farm Supply at 2470 Cemetery Road, according to Todd County Emergency Management Director Daniel Smith, who says the blaze was extinguished quickly by the Trenton Volunteer Fire Department.
Residents in the home were able to safely escape without injury.
Firefighters from Guthrie were prepared to respond with mutual aid, but were able to stand down before departing.
