The University Heights Lady Blazers won their fourth 2nd region All A Classic title in the past seven years Saturday afternoon by defeating Crittenden County 60-43.
University Heights had a four point lead at 11-7 at the end of the first period, then took the lead out to 30-18 at the half and cruising to the victory. Lily Hendricks led the Lady Blazers with 28 points, Megan Adams added 17 with Aisha Pantiere and Alex Juckett each adding six and Shiah Forte adding three as University Heights improved to 12-6 on the season.
Crittenden County was led by 15 points from Shelby Summers as the Lady Rockets fell to 9-8.
University Heights begins play in the Girls All A State Tournament in Richmond at 5:30 Wednesday evening against Walton Verona. Tickets will be on sale at UHA beginning Tuesday morning until 10 am Wednesday. Ticket cost is $8.
