An inmate escaped from the Keaton Correctional Facility in Paducah early Saturday morning.
Kentucky State Police say 33-year old Frankie Lee Higdon of Louisville was last seen wearing a tan jacket, black pants and was carrying a black backpack at the time of his escape. He is a white male, standing about 5-11 and has brown hair and blue eyes.
Staff at the jail discovered that Higdon was missing at about 1:15 a.m., according to a news release.
He was serving time for burglary, tampering with evidence and fleeing or evading police.
