Hopkinsville Community College will be hosting its own Martin Luther King Jr. celebration on Tuesday with breakfast and guest speaker.
According to a news release, the breakfast will take place at 8 a.m. in the student commons area of the Auditorium building. This year’s speaker will be HCC Assistant Director and Transfer Coordinator for Student Support Services, Minister Aaron Pettus. His talk will cover the importance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and celebrate the life of the Reverend.
Pettus has been with HCC for 22 years and is also the Pastor of Foston Chapel Baptist Church in Hopkinsville. He is a community leader with a passion for serving and engaging with students and young people throughout the Pennyrile area.
This event is free and open to the public.
