Austin Peay defeated SIU-Edwardsville 79-71 thanks to 33 points and 12 rebounds from Terry Taylor. The win keeps the Governors on pace with Murray State and Jacksonville State at 5-0 in the OVC. Austin Peay is now 13-5 on the season.
In the women’s game, SIU-E edged Austin Peay 69-68. Both teams play at Eastern Illinois tomorrow.
