The KHSAA Board of Control voted Wednesday to make changes in the KHSAA state football playoffs. Beginning with the 2019 season, teams will play intra-district games in the first two rounds of the playoffs. In third and fourth round games, matchups will be based on an RPI system involving strength of schedule.
