Bowling Green used a 24-8 run in the third quarter to defeat Christian County 72-55 last night. The Colonels had only two double figure scorers with Stephon Bussell leading the way with 18 points and Eric Brody pitched in 10. Freshman Turner Buttry led Bowling Green with 15 points, including 12-13 from the free throw line all in the second half.
Christian County fell to 9-10 on the season and returns to action at the Toyota Classic at Scott County tomorrow night facing Trinity Catholic, FL. Bowling Green is now 14-2 on the season.
