Murray State sophomore Ja Morant has been named to the John Wooden Award-Top 25 Watch List announced Wednesday. The Dalzell, SC native wasn’t on the preseason watch list, but his play through 13 games has been impressive as he has averaged 23.2 points per game, which is eighth best in the nation. He also has one of 10 triple-doubles recorded this season. Kentucky’s Keldon Johnson and Tennessee’s Grant Williams are also on the Wooden Award Watch List.
