Report: Crofton woman fired gun toward boyfriend during dispute

A Crofton woman is facing several charges after she allegedly fired a gunshot at her boyfriend during a dispute over housework Sunday afternoon.

It happened just before 5 p.m. at a South Madisonville Street home and the victim says he and 31-year old Sierra Adams were in a dispute over him not helping around the house. She reportedly flipped a plate of food onto the victim and began pushing him around the house. Adams also allegedly began pointing a gun at him and threatening to shoot him.

The boyfriend recently had knee surgery and he fled the home to protect himself from injury. That’s when Adams allegedly fired a round toward him.

She later denied having a gun at the home when interviewed by deputies, but a report says they found a spent shell casing on the ground near the front steps.

Adams was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, fourth-degree assault, tampering with evidence and terroristic threatening.
