There is a slight risk of severe weather New Year’s Eve across western Kentucky and middle Tennessee.
The National Weather Service in Paducah says severe weather will be most likely between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. and damaging winds and while heavy rain will be the primary threats, an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
