Princeton woman hurt in Madisonville collision

A Princeton woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision in Madisonville on Thursday.

That’s according to a report from the Madisonville Police Department, which states that a vehicle operated by 37-year old Adam Duncan of Manitou was stopped at a stop sign on Rose Creek Road waiting to make a left turn onto Nebo Road around 5:10 p.m.

When Duncan began to make his turn, a vehicle driven by 52-year old Melissa Martin of Princeton collided with him in the intersection. According to witnesses, Martin had been travelling without her headlights on and Duncan told officers he hadn’t seen Martin before the collision.

Martin was transported to Baptist Health Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Duncan was not injured.
