Former Hopkinsville Police Officer and one time candidate for Christian County Sheriff Franklin Pollard has been sworn into the Cadiz Police Department as a new School Resource Officer.
According to a post by the department, Pollard was sworn in by Cadiz Mayor Todd King on Friday and will begin his duties when students return from Christmas break. Pollard previously served as the School Resource Officer for Hopkinsville Middle School through the Hopkinsville Police Department.
He is a graduate of the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training Center and was also previously employed by the Oak Grove Police Department.
