Kentucky Senator Rand Paul is praising President Trump for removing troops from Syria.
The Bowling Green Republican appeared on CNN’s Face the Nation and says military money used oversees could be better spent in the U.S.
He says Defense Secretary James Mattis and the Pentagon brass should be accountable for the billions in military spending.
Mattis resigned not long after Trump’s Syria announcement.
