North Carolina coach Roy Williams has been given an eight-year contract extension, keeping him in Chapel Hill through the 2027-28 season. The Hall of Fame coach – who is in his 16th season at UNC and has led the Tar Heels to three national titles – will be nearly 78 years old when his contract expires.
