Excessive speed was listed as a factor in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday night near Allensville that injured a Clarksville man.
It happened on US 79 just north of KY 102, according to the Todd County Sheriff’s Department, which says 27-year old Jonathan Deutschmann of Clarksville was southbound when he went off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole. His car then overturned in a field.
Deutschmann was taken by EMS to Tennova Health Hospital in Clarksville for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputy B.J. Grayson investigated the crash with the assistance of Sheriff Tracy White and the Allensville Fire Department assisted at the scene.
