Christian County falls in overtime to Madisonville

Boys: Christian County watched Madisonville erase a 17 point deficit in the second half and come away with a 69-64 overtime win last night at Lyle Dunbar Gym. Fred Tandy led a quartet of Colonels scoring in double figures with 18, with Stephon Bussell pitching in 14. Madisonville was led by Ksuan Casey who had a game high 28 points. Madisonville is now 5-2 on the season while Christian County fell to 3-4.

Elsewhere: Allen County Scottsville defeated Todd Central 72-59, Bowling Green topped Logan County 68-62, Franklin Simpson eased by Greenwood 47-42, Henderson County routed Crittenden County 88-52, McCracken County blasted Lyon County 64-37, Mayfield defeated Calloway County 82-55 and Webster County over Livingston Central 53-44.

Girls: Hopkinsville routed Fort Campbell 88-20, University Heights topped Dawson Springs 66-40, Hopkins Central edged Union County 48-46, Lyon County routed Ballard Memorial 43-24, Greenwood smashed Franklin Simpson 62-17, Calloway County over Mayfield 54-38.
