Funeral services will be held later this week for legendary Murray State baseball coach Johnny Reagan. Reagan died last Friday at the age of 92. Reagan, a 1948 Murray State graduate, returned to his alma mater in 1958 as head baseball coach and assistant basketball coach.
During his 36 seasons guiding Murray State Baseball, Reagan led the Thoroughbreds to a 776-508-11 record and 11 Ohio Valley Conference championships. He was a 10-time OVC Coach of the Year. He also served as director of athletics from 1978-1987.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Friday at First Christian Church in Murray with visitation Thursday from 3-7 pm at JH Churchill Funeral Home in Murray.
