The Christian County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary that occurred on Butler Road on Thursday.
According to the report, deputies responded to a residence in the 5300 block of Butler Road for a possible burglary in progress, where someone looking after the home had discovered a side door had been kicked in.
A search of the residence revealed that the home had been burglarized and a rifle valued at $200 was missing. No suspects are listed on the report and the investigation continues.
