The Hopkinsville-Christian County YMCA will be hosting holiday camps for kids in the coming weeks and families don’t have to be members to participate.
Children between the ages of one and 10 years old are welcome and Youth Development Director Angelique Victor says the first set of camps will be December 20th and 21st and then on the 27th and 28th.
She says kids will have plenty of activities to participate in while parents go to work or get any last minute Christmas shopping done.
Drop-off times are between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. while pick-up times are between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Victor says it was their hope to offer kids a safe place to have fun and make plenty of holiday-themed crafts while they were off from school and parents still had to work.
