Trigg County I-24 EB traffic to be restricted to one lane next week

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict eastbound traffic to one lane on Interstate 24 in Trigg County starting Monday.

Eastbound traffic on I-24 will be restricted to one lane between the 62 and 64 mile-markers to allow concrete pavement repairs.  There are three concrete slabs along that section that need to be replaced, according to a news release.

All eastbound I-24 traffic will be moved to the left-hand lane in the work zone.

Officials say motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach this work zone.

The work zone is expected to remain in place through about 3 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19th.
