Grand jury returns indictments for assault, wanton endangerment

There were multiple indictments for wanton endangerment and assault returned by a Christian County Grand Jury Friday afternoon.

Indicted for second-degree assault domestic violence and first-degree wanton endangerment is 27-year old Blake Butler of Indianapolis, Indiana. According to the warrant, Butler allegedly endangered the welfare of his infant son by grabbing him from the mother’s arms and throwing him onto the couch during an altercation.  He allegedly the punched the infant’s mother in the face and choked her, causing physical injuries including a broken nose.

29-year old Kevin Gilmore of Hopkinsville has been indicted on multiple charges, including first-degree wanton endangerment of a police office, two counts first-degree wanton endangerment, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in heroin, fleeing or evading police, tampering with physical evidence, criminal mischief, leaving the scene of an accident while failing to render aid, reckless driving, speeding and other traffic violations in relation to a pursuit that occurred in October.

Also indicted on four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment is 34-year old Paul Dean Bromley Jr. who is alleged to have put a gun to a female victim’s head before grabbing her by the throat and throwing her down. A search of his residence allegedly revealed marijuana, crushed pills and an unknown crystal subject, along with several items of a drug paraphernalia. He is also indicted for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree assault and use of restricted ammunition during a felony.
