Racers & Cardinals get Wednesday night wins

Ja Morant had 23 points and Tevin Brown had a career high 20 points as Murray State routed Southern Illinois 80-52. The Racers-now 6-1 on the season-return to action Saturday evening at 7 against Jackson State at the CFSB Center.

Jordan Nwora led the charge as Louisville edged Lipscomb 72-68 last night. Nwora posted 22 points and nine rebounds. The Cardinals improved to 7-and-3 overall and 6-and-0 at home and host Kent State on Saturday.

Tonight’s game: Women’s action has Murray State hosting Bethel University at 6 pm at the CFSB Center.
