Three Clarksville residents killed in crash

Three Clarksville residents were killed in a single-vehicle accident Thursday morning in Cheatham County, Tennessee.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol investigated and determined 44-year old Alexander Slayden of Clarksville had been headed south on Highway 12 at a high rate of speed when he went off the left side of the road and struck an embankment and then hit a tree.

Slayden and his two passengers—45-year old Tawana Hoosier and 62-year old Mary Mills of Clarksville—were all killed.
