The pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Clarksville on December 1 has passed away from his injuries.
That’s according to Clarksville Police Department Public Information Officer Jim Knoll, who says in a news release that 64-year old John Chambers passed away Wednesday afternoon in the hospital. As previously reported, Chambers had been walking west across Fort Campbell Boulevard near the Oak Haven Hotel when he was struck by a vehicle travelling north on the boulevard.
No charges have been filed against the driver of the truck, who was not injured, and the investigation is ongoing.
