A wreck just across the Tennessee state line on I-24 Wednesday afternoon killed one of the drivers.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol investigated the incident that happened about 3:10 p.m. near the 2 mile-marker and determined 58-year old Vasyl Unhuryan of Pennsylvania had been slowing down in a construction zone on the westbound side when his tractor-trailer was rear-ended by a car operated by 26-year old Thomas Blackford of Clarksville.
Blackford was killed in the crash and there were no other injuries reported.
Neither drugs nor alcohol are listed as factors on the report.
