An Oak Grove woman and her two passengers were arrested for methamphetamine possession following a traffic stop Friday night in Guthrie.

Guthrie Police Sgt. Kevin Saunders and Officer Brock Sawyer stopped 36-year old Danna Maggio of Oak Grove just before 11 p.m. on Park Street for not having a visible license plate.

An arrest citation says she appeared to be under the influence of a substance and was nervous while answering questions.

Maggio and her two passengers—Desiree Borgert of Dover, Tennessee and Edward Gatewood, Jr. of Clarksville—gave consent to search the vehicle and police say they found a glass pipe in the back seat containing suspected methamphetamine.

No one claimed ownership of the pipe and all three suspects were charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Maggio was also charged with counts relating to her license plate not being visible.
