Jeff Brohm announced Wednesday he will remain Purdue’s head coach and turn down an offer from his alma mater, Louisville. In a statement, Brohm said it was a difficult decision for him and his family, but he is happy at Purdue. He added it was very important to finish the building process and honor the commitment to the Purdue program, players and recruits.
Meanwhile, Trinity High School in Louisville cancelled classes today. After reports came out that Brohm, a Trinity alum, was turning down the Louisville head coaching job, threats towards Trinity were posted on Twitter. St. Matthews Police along with the FBI are looking into the matter.
