Hopkinsville Middle School is celebrating being named a 2018-19 National School of Distinction by the National Beta Club.
According to a news release from Christian County Public Schools, the HMS Beta Club chapter has 105 members and will be recognized at the Kentucky Junior Beta Convention in Lexington and the National Beta Convention in Oklahoma City. The club also will receive a banner to display at the school.
The National Beta School of Distinction award honors Beta Chapters striving towards academic achievement, exemplary character, demonstrated leadership, service to others, while honoring those schools showing an increase in membership.
National Beta Club CEO Bobby Hart says, “This prestigious honor is a true indication of Hopkinsville Middle School’s dedication to academic excellence, leadership development and commitment to celebrating their student’s achievements.”
