Gas prices have been falling just in time for the Thanksgiving travel period.
The average price in western Kentucky for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is $2.33, according to AAA, which says the lowest prices in the region are in Elizabethtown where the average is about $2.19.
Gas is about six cents cheaper than it was this time last year.
