A man was seriously injured in an accident Sunday morning in Madisonville.
It happened about 11:40 a.m. and Madisonville Police say 49-yer old Carl Winebarger of Madisonville had been headed north on Island Ford Road when he ran a stop sign at Lantaff Boulevard.
He struck a vehicle driven by 53-year old Keila Dugger of Mortons Gap, causing Winebarger to strike another automobile driven by 59-year old Rebecca Harper of Madisonville.
Winebarger was unresponsive at the scene and was taken by ambulance to Baptist Health Hospital for treatment.
