Man arrested for cocaine possession, woman served with warrants

An attempt to locate a woman wanted on warrants on West Second Street early Friday morning led to the arrests of two people.

Hopkinsville Police located 50-year old Dannyelle Jones of Hopkinsville inside a vehicle parked at 711 West Second and determined he was wanted on a warrant for contempt of court.

A search allegedly revealed a baggie in Jones’ pocket containing cocaine. He was charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

The person police were looking for, 26-year old Marneshia Bailey of Hopkinsville, was arrested at that location and served with warrants for probation violation, contempt of court and failure to appear in court.
