The man flown to a Nashville hospital after his vehicle hit a hog and flipped on Gracey-Herndon Road last month has died from his injuries.
An obituary from Imes Funeral Home in Calloway County for 51-year old Troy Clere of Murray says he died Sunday at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
As previously reported, Clere had been westbound on Gracey-Herndon Road on October 22nd when he struck the hog that had gotten out of a fence and onto the roadway.
Clere lost control of his vehicle, went into a ditch and rolled at least once before reentering the road and flipping twice.
His obituary says he was a veteran of the Air Force who served in Desert Storm.
